StateGuide has no control over which accommodations properties are listed in a particular town or city, that is all done by the third parties that own the actual ''booking engines'' themselves StateGuide is a designated affiliate and performs the functions of [1] advertising the towns on the web, then [2] matching that town with the appropriate booking engine site. As an affiliate, revenues are earned only if a room is booked and the reservation is consummated.

Behind the scenes, the engines are typically the very same resources that the industry is already familiar with... Sabre, Amadeus, Pegasus (Thisco), etc. To list a specific site, property owners & managers should contact the booking engines directly. TravelNow.com, HotelGuide.com, and Inntopia.com are good places to start.... but there are many. Some are more attuned to domestic (US) travel, others to international interests.
